Presentación nuevas profesoras auxiliares nativas

El Departamento de Inglés del Colegio quiere dar la bienvenida a las nuevas profesoras auxiliares nativas que se han incorporado a nuestro centro.

Hello! My name is Marie, and I am from the United States of America. I grew up in Wichita, Kansas, and recently graduated from Newman University. I have been a Math tutor, and I have also taught English to children in Guatemala and refugees in Kansas. I have two brothers, and I am very close with them. When I am not teaching I enjoy running, reading, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. I also love exploring sites around Madrid and Spain. I am very excited to get to know you and your children, and I am pleased to spend this next year in Madrid! ¡Ciao!

Hello, my name is Selin.
I am 24 years old and originally, I am from Frankfurt in Germany. I have grown up there, but spent my last few years in The Netherlands as well as in Madrid and on the Canary Islands. Recently, I have graduated from Tilburg University with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Spain has always been a place I wanted to explore. And now, after having lived in Spain for a while, I wanted to continue to experience this lovely country. Simultaneously, I wanted to challenge myself in education, a field that I have always admired. As such, I decided to join SJE for the upcoming year. I am absolutely thrilled and excited about what this experience has to offer. More importantly, however, I am looking forward to meeting the students, to assist them on their path of acquiring a new language, and to make them feel comfortable expressing themselves in a foreign language. I cannot wait to meet them, my colleagues and school life!

My name is Roisin and I’m delighted to be an English language assistant at Colegio San Juan Evangelista this year. I’m 22 years old and was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. I have visited Spain many times before but this is my first time living here and I’m excited to do some more exploring.

I’m a recent graduate of the University of Liverpool, and I have always been passionate about top quality education. I’m particularly enthusiastic about learning languages as it is a skill that opens many doors and provides incredible opportunities. For this reason, I’m thrilled to be working alongside the wonderful team of English teachers at the school in order to help the students practice their English, and build confidence in their abilities to communicate through a second language. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for me and the students.
